DERBY GIRLS SCRIMMAGE WITH MEDIA
It's gotta be the funniest media participation event yet---a media scrimmage with the Salt Lake Derby Girls. That is, if any media shows up.
Will the Roller Derby ladies, who push, shove and hip check their opponents in a 'bout,' or game, go easy on media klutzes who show up Thursday, Feb. 21, for an invited scrimmage at the Taylorsville Recreation Center?
The Salt Lake Derby Girls are using the event as a pre-season media introduction to new skaters, old favorites and the new lineups and new teams.
The SLDG's new season begins March 1, and Adventure Sports Weekly will have regular coverage of their adventures.
