RESORT OPENING JUST TWO WEEKS AWAY!

Brighton will once again be the first Utah resort to open.

"We're telling everyone it will be on November 11, but we think we may be able to open as early as the eighth," says mountain manager Randy Doyle, not even trying to hide his kid-like glee.

The upper mountain has nearly a three foot base, and early birds are already climbing to feed their jones; getting the true first tracks.

"It's like a banana country down at the base, but up top, the snow is great," Doyle says.

The snow gods must love this resort at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, because it always has the best early season snow; you never even need your rock skis.
